Street Entertainment

For many, the highlight of the final day of Arklow's Seabreeze Festival was the Pig Derby, but, among the numerous other events taking place was the Pipe Band competition followed by a march down Main Street.

A job well done Princess, the pigs have flown!

And not forgetting the many other acts on stage including this young band who really rocked us!

nice blog. Where is Wicklow?

Ken: Thank you. Wicklow, or in the case of this particular post, Arklow, County Wicklow is a coastal town about 50 miles south of Dublin, Ireland. The county of Wicklow stretches, on the coast, from Bray in the north to Arklow in the south and, in the west from Blessington to Baltinglass and a few others in between! My particular neck of the woods is just outside Wicklow Town, which is the main town or capital, lying midway between Bray and Arklow.
