Play Misty

Driving into Wicklow Town, Sunday last, I just had to stop to grab this scene.  All along the east coast was shrouded in mist but, miraculously, it seems to have missed Wicklow Golf Club which is right on the coast.  How very convenient!

Nice Setting

Yes, a nice setting for a game of golf as we negotiate the narrow cliff walk south to Wicklow Head taking in the views of Wicklow Golf Club which runs alongside this spectacular stretch of coastline.

A Nice Back-drop

 

 The tender Granuaile, at anchor off Wicklow Harbour, together with an ominous sky make for a nice back-drop when playing to this green at Wicklow Golf Club.

No Golf Today

Sun, sea and golf - what more could one ask for?  Well certainly not snow, but that's what we've got today and maybe for the next week so, no golf at Blainroe Golf Club, Co Wicklow.
